NukaTap FC (Flow Control) Model – The Future of Draft Taps
The NukaTap FC (Flow Control) represents the latest innovation in flow control tap design, combining the benefits of a forward-sealing tap with the ability to control flow speed. With a simple flow control lever on the right-hand side of the tap, you can easily adjust the flow, making it much easier to balance your beer lines. This tap is ideal for customers who frequently switch between different beer styles and require a flexible draft system. Additionally, the NukaTap FC is the first-ever forward-sealing tap that can be used with a spring return, solving a long-standing issue with older designs like the Intertap FC, which couldn't make the self-closing spring function work. The patented NukaTap FC design now includes this highly sought-after feature.
First Pour Foam Reduction
Reducing thermal mass significantly minimizes the foam issue typically seen during the first pour. The tap, being the warmest part of the draft system, acts as a heat sink, requiring enough cold beer to flow through it to cool down. By reducing thermal mass, the NukaTap ensures that the foam quality improves as the tap cools, leading to a smoother, more consistent pour from the start.
Laminar Flow
The NUKASHUTTLE design is the world’s first seamless shuttle. After extensive modeling and testing, this new "nuke" shaped shuttle is the most hydrodynamic ever created for a forward-sealing tap. Its streamlined design, earning the "NUKATAP" name, ensures a perfect pour, even with highly carbonated beers. Minimal turbulence results in a smooth, consistent pour every time.
Most Sanitary Design
The NUKASHUTTLE is the world’s first seamless, single-piece shuttle design. Traditional taps often feature seals on a stainless-steel body, creating crevices that trap solids, promote bacterial growth, and make cleaning more difficult. The NukaTap’s advanced TPV rubber matrix is seamlessly molded over a durable PP skeleton, eliminating these problematic fissures and providing a cleaner, more hygienic tap.
Long Life Seals
Unlike many taps that use rubber components that degrade over time due to exposure to caustic and acidic substances, the NukaTap is designed to withstand a wide range of conditions. With the increasing popularity of sour beers, kombucha, and other acid-based beverages, NukaTap offers the most chemically resistant seals available. Unlike older tap designs with "metal-on-metal" components that can wear out and cause a rough feel, the NukaTap glides smoothly, ensuring longevity and optimal performance. The TPV rubber matrix shuttle is also highly durable, withstanding significant leverage force from long tap handles that could traditionally degrade seals.

Tap Handle Angle – 2.5° Reverse Angle
The NukaTap is designed with a 2.5° reverse angle, allowing for greater flexibility with tap handles. This ensures compatibility with a wider range of handles, particularly long or heavy ones, regardless of installation conditions.
Forward Sealing Design
Like its predecessors, the NukaTap features a forward-sealing design that shuts off the flow at the front of the tap. This prevents wild yeast and bacteria from entering the tap body, ensuring the beer remains clean and high-quality.
Auto Close Spring Available
The NukaTap FC is the first forward-sealing tap that can be fitted with an auto-close spring (sold separately). This feature allows the tap to automatically close when the handle is released, which is especially useful in households with children or pets. It helps prevent spills and product loss, as well as potential gas wastage.
What is Rear Sealing Design?
Traditional beer taps use a rear-sealing design, which relies on a vent hole at the front of the tap to drain the beer. This creates a wet, dark cavity that can be a breeding ground for airborne bacteria and wild yeast, contaminating the beer with each pour. The NukaTap’s forward-sealing design eliminates this issue, keeping your beer clean and fresh with every pour.
