DESCRIPTION:

Born in Melbourne in 2013 our Yarraville Pale Ale began production at the popular Grain and Grape Artisan Ales Brewing Project based in Yarraville out in the city’s West. The golden amber beer with the citrus floral aroma is a crowd pleaser for anyone wanting something with more flavour and character than plain old yellow lager. Crafty and delicious without being too strong or too bitter the Yarraville Pale Ale hits the sweet spot with it’s own Australian character that’s perfect year round.

New World hop flavours mingle with a toasty malt character crowned with a perfect white head of foam that lasts throughout the glass. Balanced slightly more to the hop character than the malt this is a beer for anyone who enjoys the American Craft Beer Pale Ales from early craft beer pioneers such as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but with a more Melbourne take to the whole style.

What you’ll get in every glass of Yarraville Pale Ale is nothing short of satisfying. With it’s clean, rich malt profile and smooth, hoppy finish Yarraville Pale Ale pairs well with everything from pizza and burgers to Sunday roasts and wood grilled seafood. It’s powerful enough to quench a deep thirst or quell the burn on a spicy dish.

Yarraville Pale Ale delivers subdued toasted grain, fresh baked bread flavours paired with the stone fruit, citrus and tropical flavours of our hop additions that provide a balanced bitterness that is never harsh, and always just right. This pale ale is not just Australian, it’s uniquely Melbourne reflecting a bit of the English, old world malt backbone with the new world Australian hops that make Aussie craft beers shine.

A hoppy ale with loads of the best of the Pacific Rim hops Galaxy, Citra and Kohatu. An easy drinking session pale ale with a malty backbone using Australian pilsner malt and German Crystal malt.

Dry Hopping is not essential with this beer but if you’d like to experiment you could try 40g of Galaxy, Citra or Kohatu in the fermenter 3 days before packaging.
